Traci Braxton was a singer, songwriter, actress and TV personality. She grew up in Severn, Maryland, and was brought up in a strict household.

She starred alongside her sisters in the R&B group The Braxtons. They released their first single, “Good Life,” in 1990, but it was unsuccessful.

Her earliest musical experience was singing in her church choir. She also worked as a youth counselor and has a background in social work for children with disabilities.

Since she started her career, Traci Braxton has sold over 70 million records worldwide and won several awards. She is also an accomplished philanthropist and has given much of her adult life to social work for children with disabilities.
